WHAT IS NASA AND SPACEX CREW DRAGON MISSION?

30 may 2020, NASA and SPACEX  joint mission crew dragon Demo-2 successfully launched by SPACEX falcon 9 rocket at Florida, Kennedy space center.

NASA 2 astronauts on crew dragon spacecraft successfully reached to international space station (ISS).

In space history first time NASA used any commercially built spacecraft to go to (ISS).

This mission is important for humanity because it is a first step for humans to travel in space.

Today I will tell you this missions details.

What is SPACEX ? And why NASA and other space agencies taking their help for space missions?

Everyone know that this mission name is CREW DRAGON DEMO-2. This is a joint project of NASA and SPACEX .

This space vehicle mainly have two parts : Upper parts is spacecraft and lower part is rocket it's name is Falcon 9 this is reusable space vehicle design and developed by SPACEX.

Normal rocket is crashed in oceans after launching a satellite but Falcon 9 rocket is reusable and advance after separate from spacecraft it automatically come back on it's launch site,The success rate of Falcon 9 is very high.

Now, second is spacecraft it's name is CREW DRAGON DEMO-2 and it is also a reusable spacecraft and it also called CARGO DRAGON it is used to carry cargo for astronauts on international space station.

This is crew dragon capsule it is divided into two parts Upper part is CAPSULE and lower part is TRUNK.

1.CAPSULE : Capsule is a part in which the astronauts is sitting during the mission and it is a important part of space vehicle.

In capsule Total 4 astronauts can sit in one time but for testing purpose only two astronauts.

Are selected for this mission they both are very experienced astronauts in nasa.

CREW DRAGON'S CAPSULE is fully automatic and astronauts don't need to control it's function in this way they can focus on their research capsule inside environment is maintain like earth environment so astronauts feels that they are on earth and they not face any problem from zero gravity and vacuum.

2.TRUNK: This is a lower part of spacecraft  and also connected with rocket it's upper part is made up of solar modules it is basically a high quality solar pannel. They provide energy to propel spacecraft through sunlight.

#SPACEX: Space exploration technology corporation is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company it is found by Elon musk in 2002.

 Elon Musk also have Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink,and Open (AI) companies and who are laying the foundation of a numbered Future of through humanity of companies.

Why NASA need help of SPACEX for their mission because spaceX have a reusable rocket it's cost is lower than other rockets and it is very advance rocket for future inter-planetary missions.
